Casa Uno e Due

ITA  -  Il progetto nasce dall’esigenza di ampliare la funzionalità dell’abitazione esistente, con un nuovo garage capace di ospitare auto, bici e moto, accompagnato da un locale deposito attrezzi. Situata al centro del lotto e circondata su tre lati da un giardino, la casa firmata dall’architetto Simonitti si arricchisce ora di due volumi stereometrici posizionati sul lato nord, dove prima si trovava il vialetto carrabile. Il garage si attesta sulla strada, permettendo di ripristinare gran parte del vialetto carrabile preesistente. Il suo tetto si trasforma in una rigogliosa aiuola che abbraccia la terrazza, proponendosi come nuovo soggiorno a cielo aperto esposto a sud, capace di restituire permeabilità al lotto e vivibilità allo spazio esterno. La razionale geometria dei nuovi volumi è vivacizzata da un rivestimento in tubolari di alluminio a sezione quadrata, che crea un vibrante effetto di facciata, ispirata alla serie di Fibonacci. Questo rivestimento ha molteplici funzioni: uniforma e tridimensionalizza il cemento armato a vista, funge da parapetto, maschera i contenitori per la raccolta differenziata e cela il portone basculante e l'uscita delle biciclette. La vasca verde in copertura ospita arbusti che, crescendo, si fonderanno con gli steli metallici, evocando una foresta di bambù. Il deposito attrezzi, con aperture strette che richiamano le vetrate dell'abitazione, si armonizza con il garage nei toni scuri e terrosi. Il progetto include anche una pensilina per l'ingresso pedonale principale. Tutti i cancelli esistenti sono sostituiti con modelli su misura che riprendono il disegno del rivestimento del garage. L'illuminazione esterna è studiata per valorizzare la vasca verde, il rivestimento metallico, il nuovo giardino a nord e l'ingresso pedonale. La pavimentazione in pietra piasentina contribuisce all'eleganza dell’intervento. L'abitazione spicca sul basamento scuro dei nuovi volumi e del giardino, enfatizzando la gerarchia architettonica. Le tinte grigie calde dei volumi e del rivestimento conferiscono un'essenziale ricercatezza, infondendo armonia all'intero contesto.

ENG  - The project stems from the need to expand the functionality of the existing home, with a new garage capable of accommodating cars, bicycles, and motorcycles, along with a tool shed. Located at the center of the lot and surrounded on three sides by a garden, the house designed by architect Simonitti is now enhanced by two stereometric volumes positioned on the north side, where the driveway was previously located. The garage abuts the street, allowing for the restoration of much of the existing driveway. Its roof is transformed into a lush flowerbed that embraces the terrace, serving as a new open-air, south-facing living room, restoring permeability to the lot and a livable outdoor space. The rational geometry of the new volumes is enlivened by a cladding of square-section aluminum tubes, creating a vibrant façade effect inspired by the Fibonacci series. This cladding has multiple functions: it evens out and gives three-dimensionality to the exposed reinforced concrete, acts as a parapet, masks the recycling bins, and conceals the overhead door and bicycle exit. The green roof basin hosts shrubs that, as they grow, will blend with the metal stems, evoking a bamboo forest. The tool shed, with narrow openings that echo the home's glass windows, harmonizes with the garage in dark, earthy tones. The project also includes a canopy for the main pedestrian entrance. All existing gates are replaced with custom models that match the garage cladding. The exterior lighting is designed to enhance the green basin, the metal cladding, the new north-facing garden, and the pedestrian entrance. The Piasentina stone paving adds to the elegance of the project. The home stands out against the dark base of the new volumes and garden, emphasizing the architectural hierarchy. The warm gray hues of the volumes and cladding lend a minimalist sophistication, infusing harmony into the entire context.
