ITA  - Questo progetto di ristrutturazione edilizia ha permesso di modernizzare una porzione di villetta a schiera, edificata nel 1952 su progetto dell'architetto Ermes Midena. L'immobile, su due piani fuori terra e uno interrato, con garage annesso, è stato oggetto di un profondo rinnovamento sia distributivo che energetico. Al piano terra, gli ambienti sono stati completamente ripensati. Si è creata un'ampia zona giorno unificando cucina e soggiorno, spostando la cucina nell'allora salotto per massimizzare lo spazio affacciato sul giardino. Una parte del garage è stata riconvertita per realizzare un nuovo bagno a servizio della zona giorno, mentre la sezione rimanente è stata trasformata in deposito attrezzi e biciclette, con accesso indipendente. A primo piano l'unione dei due bagni esistenti ha permesso di ricavare un unico ambiente più spazioso e confortevole. Parallelamente, il progetto si è concentrato sul miglioramento delle prestazioni energetiche: l’edificio si veste di un nuovo cappotto termico esterno, serramenti all’avanguardia e un impianto fotovoltaico in copertura. La corte esterna che definisce l’ingresso è interamente tinteggiata dal color vinaccia, ripreso nelle lattonerie, nei cancelli esistenti recuperati e nei nuovi avvolgibili. Una tenda solare sul prospetto sud ha contribuito a mitigare l’irraggiamento. Questi interventi hanno trasformato l'abitazione, garantendo maggiore comfort, efficienza e modernità, pur rispettando la sua storia.

ENG  - This renovation project modernized a portion of a terraced house, built in 1952 and designed by architect Ermes Midena. The property, spanning two floors above ground and one below ground, with an attached garage, underwent a thorough renovation in terms of both layout and energy efficiency. On the ground floor, the spaces were completely redesigned. A large living area was created by combining the kitchen and living room, moving the kitchen into the former living room to maximize the space overlooking the garden. A section of the garage was converted to create a new bathroom serving the living area, while the remaining section was transformed into a tool and bicycle shed, with separate access. On the first floor, the union of the two existing bathrooms created a single, more spacious and comfortable space. At the same time, the project focused on improving energy performance: the building features new external thermal insulation, state-of-the-art windows, and a photovoltaic system on the roof. The external courtyard that defines the entrance is entirely painted a wine-red color, echoed in the metalwork, the restored existing gates, and the new roller shutters. A solar awning on the south elevation helped mitigate the sun's rays. These interventions have transformed the home, ensuring greater comfort, efficiency, and modernity while respecting its history.
