ITA  -  Due corpi architettonici nati in epoche diverse – uno degli anni ’80, l’altro del 2001 – si incontrano in un progetto che ne ricompone l’identità attraverso un linguaggio unitario e contemporaneo. La ristrutturazione ha dato nuova coerenza all’insieme, rivestendo le facciate con un rosso mattone uniforme che annulla le dissonanze e restituisce equilibrio tra tradizione e modernità. Ma la trasformazione è andata ben oltre l’aspetto esteriore: gli interni, un tempo destinati a uno studio dentistico, sono stati completamente ripensati per accogliere una nuova vita residenziale. Da spazi tecnici e compartimentati si è passati a un ambiente aperto, luminoso, calibrato nei volumi e nei materiali. La cucina è definita da un'isola centrale di colore grigio-verde, che si contrappone armoniosamente a una parete di mobili scuri opachi, dove sono integrati gli elettrodomestici. Un tocco distintivo è dato dal rivestimento decorativo del paraschizzi, con un motivo geometrico vivace. L'abbondante luce naturale è garantita da ampie aperture vetrate che si affacciano sull'esterno, con vista sul giardino. Il pavimento in legno chiaro si estende in tutti gli ambienti, creando un filo conduttore caldo e accogliente, che ben si armonizza con i toni di colore decisi che caratterizzano l’intervento. Una casa che, oltre a mettere in dialogo architetture e linguaggi differenti, racconta una trasformazione più profonda: quella di uno spazio che cambia funzione, atmosfera e significato.

The renovation has given new coherence to the whole, cladding the facades with a uniform brick red that eliminates dissonance and restores balance between tradition and modernity. But the transformation went far beyond the exterior: the interiors, once intended for a dental practice, have been completely redesigned to accommodate a new residential life. Compartmentalized technical spaces have been transformed into an open, bright space, calibrated in terms of volumes and materials. The kitchen is defined by a gray-green central island, which harmoniously contrasts with a wall of dark, matte cabinetry, where the appliances are integrated. A distinctive touch is provided by the decorative backsplash, featuring a vibrant geometric pattern. Abundant natural light is provided by large windows overlooking the garden. The light wood flooring extends throughout the rooms, creating a warm and welcoming theme that harmonizes beautifully with the bold color tones that characterize the project. A home that, in addition to bringing different architectural styles and languages ​​into dialogue, speaks of a deeper transformation: that of a space that changes function, atmosphere, and meaning.
