ITA  - L'intervento ha riguardato la ristrutturazione di una villetta bifamiliare degli anni '50 situata alle porte del centro storico di Udine. L'edificio, composto da un piano interrato e tre fuori terra, presentava un sottotetto adibito a soffitta. Le due unità immobiliari sono così distribuite: una al piano terra con interrato annesso, l'altra al primo e secondo piano. In condivisione il corpo scale, la cantina e parte della soffitta. Il progetto ha migliorato la fruizione degli spazi, rispondendo alle nuove esigenze dei proprietari. È stato recuperato il sottotetto, trasformando gli spazi accessori in un soggiorno, due camere e un bagno. Per garantire indipendenza d'accesso al secondo piano, è stata realizzata una nuova scala esterna sul fronte sud, collegando direttamente il primo al secondo piano. Questa costruzione ha permesso anche l'ampliamento della terrazza al primo piano e del porticato al piano terra. Il volume del secondo piano ha mantenuto la conformazione originaria del tetto a falde, con una parziale demolizione per integrare il nuovo corpo scala nella facciata. L’intervento si è completato con un’importante riqualificazione energetica: cappotto esterno, nuovi serramenti e impianto fotovoltaico. La tinteggiatura color malva ha contribuito a definire l’abitazione sottolineandone le caratteristiche principali e armonizzandone i volumi.

ENG -  The project involved the renovation of a 1950s-era semi-detached house located just outside Udine's historic center. The building, consisting of a basement and three above-ground floors, previously featured an attic. The two units are distributed as follows: one on the ground floor with an adjoining basement, and the other on the first and second floors. They share the stairwell, cellar, and part of the attic. The project improved the use of the space, responding to the owners' new needs. The attic was restored, transforming the ancillary spaces into a living room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. To ensure independent access to the second floor, a new external staircase was built on the south facade, directly connecting the first and second floors. This construction also allowed for the expansion of the first-floor terrace and the ground-floor porch. The second-floor volume retained the original pitched roof shape, with partial demolition to integrate the new staircase into the façade. The project was completed with a major energy upgrade: external insulation, new windows, and a photovoltaic system. The mauve paintwork helped define the home, highlighting its key features and harmonizing its volumes.
